The CA 442 is a temperature monitoring unit with four signal inputs. It can monitor one to four pumps with combined alarms (one alarm per pump) or up to four separate alarms using one unit per pump. The CA 442 can be connected to the PC 441 via a CAN-bus interface and can only be used in combination with the PC 441 monitoring/controller unit.
The CA 442 also features a separate 4 to 20 mA input for a vibration sensor that can be used when monitoring a single pump.
Thanks to the CAN-bus interface, you can mount the monitoring device either in the cabinet or up to 250 meters away from the pump (when using the same earth potential).
